คุณทองมา หรือจําเนียร ทองมา และคุณโลเล ทวีศักดิ์ ศรีทองดี สองศิลปินร่วมสมัย ผู้สร้างผลงานผ่านรูปลักษณ์ของมนุษย์ในรูปแบบต่างๆ มาอย่างโชกโชน ทั้งสองท่านเล็งเห็น ความน่าสนใจในความ “ดั้งเดิม” ของมนุษย์ ที่มีความแข็งแกร่ง มีพละกําลัง และสง่างามใน ความดิบ จึงร่วมกันถ่ายทอดผลงานภายใต้แนวคิด TARZAN ความแข็งแกร่งอันเป็นธรรมชาติ ดั้งเดิมของมนุษย์ที่ถูกหลงลืมไป
ศิลปินได้เลือกจัดแสดงงานครั้งนี้ที่ โรงแรมวิลลา มหาภิรมย์ เนื่องจากเป็นโรงแรมที่มี การเอารูปแบบของสถาปัตยกรรมไทยแบบดั้งเดิม ผสมผสานกับศิลปะที่มีความร่วมสมัย และยังมี การใส่ใจในรายละเอียดขององค์ประกอบที่นํามาตกแต่งจัดวาง ซึ่งมีความสอดคล้องกับผลงาน ศิลปะที่จัดแสดงในครั้งนี้

Thongma or Chamnien Thongma and Lolay Taweesak Srithongdee, two contemporary artists; the creators of artworks which depicted the appearance of human beings in various forms. Both artists share the same interest in the "original" human forms with its strength, elegance, grace and rawness. They join forces for this art exhibition under the concept of TARZAN, to celebrate the natural strength and beauty of the original human form that has long been forgotten.
The artists selected Villa Mahabhirom as the venue for this exhibition because of its well balanced composition of traditional Thai architectural style combined with contemporary art, and the attention to detail of the decorating elements that align with the concept of this art exhibition.
More than 40 pieces of artworks under the “TARZAN" concept will be displayed at Villa Mahabhirom, Chiang Mai, during February 9 till April 20, 2019.
